Traditional Network Marketing is about trying to create interest where it does not currently exist. Starting with making out a warm list of friends, family, anybody you know; then systematically working your way through that list to invite them to look at your business.
Once the warm list has run out, it becomes about approaching your cold market with flyers, cards, referrals or buying lists of leads and phoning them.
Although these methods seem logical, the sad fact is that over 95% of people using them fail.

Most people do not join a business based on how good the products or the company are. They primarily join based on whether or not they think they can be successful. If you inspire more confidence than their current upline, many will want to join you.

Do you consider yourself a success if your are part of a minority that makes the money while the majority working hard in the same compensation plan are asking "where's the money?"
A leader's plan basically reward those who can really do the business well but we all know majority of network marketers are part-timers and can't really do the business well, but they like the idea of recommending people the products and the opportunity to earn a little part-time residual income or even get "free" products for doing so!
Have you been sold on the $100,000 a month cheque flashed around by some leaders? 97% of the people that join the business will be very happy to see their $1,000 a month cheque.
It is very important to study the compensation plan carefully and ask yourself that with a fair amount of commitment in time, money and effort, can you earn a decent part-time income?
It is critical that you choose the right company that has integrity in its managment, products, compensation plan and support system.
If your lower ranks cannot earn a decent part-time income, they will not stay and the attrition rate will be as high as pyramid selling where only a few make the money and the rest ended up being financiers!
Now you know why many people you approach consider network marketing similar to pyramid selling! Many people have been "burned" by leader's compensation plan.
What is a leader's compensation plan?
It is compensation plan that is designed in such a way that the chances of making it to the top is very tough with lots of variation of qualifications and balancing acts.
When the company pay out to less than 3% and the rest hardly make any money, who do you think make the most money? The company that designed the leader's compensation plan!
Here's the acid test, simply do a little market research and ask the part-timers in your company:
Are there many people earning a decent part-time income ranging from $300 to $1,000?
If the answer is very few, you got to do your due diligence and start looking for a better opportunity elsewhere!
It is so important to choose the right company because you will be introducing your loved ones, relatives and friends into the business and they join the business because they trusted you and you want to ensure that they can earn at least a decent part-time income ranging from $300 to $1,000 a month.
In my 13 years in the business I have seen thousands of people being hurt by leader's compensation plan where there were lots of hype and misrepresentation and people were sold the dream of financial freedom but ended up being financiers!
I know what it is like and how it feels because I have experienced leader's compensation plan and have seen how my marketing group worked hard and struggled to earn a decent part-time income from $300 to $1,000 a month. Is that a lot to ask?
The truth is that over 97% of network marketers will be happy if they can earn consistently a good part-time income ranging from $300 to $1,000 or more per month.
SUCCESS to me, means:
Sincerity - be true to yourself and others
Understanding - knowing the truth
Compassion - care enough to share and share enough to care
Commitment - in any business, you must commit time, money and effort
Ethical - doing the right things
Service - the more value you put in your service, the more you will earn
Sponsor - you will want to consistently sponsor new members to build your business and to help people achieve their dreams.
