Surely by now you've heard of network marketing and its promises to generate for you an unlimited income from the luxury of
your own home without the stress of a fixed workday schedule.
You might wonder what magic this network marketing is. It's really quite simple, and when successful, you really can makes lots
of money. Of course, it's not as easy as the ads make it to be.
Some manufacturers use another route to sell their products other than the standard
manufacturer-warehouse-wholesaler-retailer-customer path. This alternative route is known as network marketing.
You buy the products from someone who is already a member of a network marketing company. He recruits you and becomes your
sponsor.
You, in turn, will be selling products too. Upon joining the network, you will become a part of your sponsor's downline, which
just means all of his recruits and his recruits' recruits (and so on).
Your sponsor benefits from his downline because he will get a small percentage of profit for every item sold by every
member.
However, aside from selling, you are also expected to get recruits and create your own downline.
The bigger your downline is, the better chances for you to earn big. Suppose you recruit ten people, and each one of them
recruits another ten. You'll get a hundred people already at just the second level.
If all these members are active sellers and recruiters then you'll have around more than a thousand people from which you can
get profit from.
There's monetary investment involved in network marketing. Some ask for membership fees, while most require you to buy a set of
all the products offered upon joining.
Either way, it's still money out of your pocket. If you're willing to risk joining a startup company, you will not be dealing
with sponsors because you'll be a pioneer member.
If the company becomes successful, you'll have more members in your downline than you've ever dreamed of, and if all of them do
their job well, maybe you can afford to sit back and wait while the money goes straight to your pocket, and not out of, for a change.
If you're not comfortable with risking your money, you can join an established network company.
The downside of this is that you may have a harder time getting recruits because many people are already members.
Of course, you can choose not to build a downline and just sell the products, but you'll be alone in working. You only earn
form what you sold. In network marketing, your downline will work with and for you.
You earn not only from what you sold but also from what your members sold.
Be reminded that in reality, recruiting people can be difficult in the first place, let alone keeping those already recruited
interested enough to be active.
You must use all your salesman skills when joining a network marketing company.
If you want to try out network marketing, here are some tips to remember:
1.) As a member, you will get big discounts on the products the company is selling. Join one whose products you can use and
love.
2.) Choose a company that focuses on the quality of their products, not on the networking, which should be
secondary.
3.) When choosing a sponsor, make sure that he is efficient. He should be able to answer your questions. He should also treat
his immediate recruits as a team.
He should be a good motivator so you won't get bored or frustrated
4.) Find out exactly where your money is going.
5.) Gather all information you can on the company you've chosen.
If you're looking for get-rich-quick schemes, forget about networking. This will entail work, both in selling and getting
recruits.
There are also marketing scams which you have to watch out for. Some companies only want your initial
investment. Others are focused on recruitment and not on the products.
When the products aren't good, no one will buy them, and as a consequence, you and your downline will not earn anything. In the
end, it still boils down to working for the money.
The universal business industry has already spread its wings to fly in the wide heavens of the business world. Because
of this, entrepreneurs find alternatives on how to establish business in spite of the tight products and work force
competition.
Nowadays, this is not a problem and you, as the marketer, need no more frowning eyes to earn money. In
just a snap of a finger, Network Marketing enters the conversation or topic now.
Network Marketing whether online or offline is composed of a team. There you have the leader and the
distributor or the sellers. In any way we look it, we call this group of businessmen a TEAM.
How to easily put out the best from this team? Let's take a look at the following lists of guidelines on
how to boost the team. Come on! Let's start our business checklist exploration.
1. Practice setting a schedule when your plans are done already.
Time. Time is a factor that plays a significant role in any Network Marketing team. Making a schedule of
the team's what to do task is a valuable tool of checking your network's performance. But mind you people, always set a tentative
schedule based on your post-prepared business plans and agenda.
But setting your schedule is not that easy. You mind end up with a big mistake if you make a schedule out
of your initial unplanned schedule. I say to you, avoid making a schedule if your plans are not set yet.
2. Learn to prioritize your schedule.
The bottom line here is “learn to do things one step at a time”. What plans are scheduled for this month,
for this week, for the fist three days, and for today? Do not attempt to do all the week-long tasks in just a day or two. Learn to follow
the set schedule for it is meant to be followed. Had done the otherwise, the schedule need not to be set.
3. Set the specific tasks that must be accomplished on a specific data.
Do not compact all tasks into a single working day. You will just end up doing a mediocre work - a type of
result that hinders the best output most people are looking for. You are not a multi-tasking machine like the computers, unless your task
only requires minimal thinking you can accomplish more than one task then.
4. Teach your team to practice saying “NO”. There's nothing wrong with that.
The most dreaded word for your team members might be the word “no”. Your team members need not be like saints that
will nod their heads and say “Amen” to whatever you'll say. Tell them that it's alright to speak their stand. In that way, you‘ll get
know who among your team members has the potential to be a wise problem solver and a good plan setter. Recognition takes place
here.
5. Get to know the prime times of your team members. They are more productive on this time.
All of us have the chosen peak time wherein the muscles of our brain are at their best condition. Discover
that peak time. Utilize that time and you will come up with best out of your job.
6. Disseminate well-divided tasks among your team members.
Have the habit of having a equally assigned tasks among your members. They will appreciate it. In that way, you can
easily EXPLODE their vigor to do more and to work even better.
7. As the team leader, include in your plans the risk management task.
Risk is inevitable but curable. Potential problems might just be hanging out there. They will strike when
they see a weakness in your plan. But with the back-up risk management, everything is just under control.
8. Attend or conduct seminars for your teams including you. The knowledge you will get is lot of
help.
Never stop learning. Learn, learn, and learn. There's no such a thing as information overload. You may not
know that the single phrase you have read in a library is the solution to your current big problem. That's true. I, myself, have proven
that already and you could too.
9. Recognize at the initial planning the POTENTIAL PROBLEMS that may occur.
Potential problems are problems that may occur in the foreseeable future. Recognizing them at the
forefront will create a strong plan of activities for your marketing business.
10. Tell your team members to be organized at work and daily activities.
Nothing compares to a well-organized and carefully-planned job. Your Network Marketing team leader might
be looking for potential members who could raise the network's revenues into the nth power. Who knows? It might be you.

7. TOOLS OF THE TRADE
Editors note:
Below are some of the tools I personally use and recommend. These tools have passed my test, which isn't easy. If you
would like to recommend a tool you use daily with great results, please send a note to the editor.
Internet based network marketing is a rewarding business for those who can do it right. However, Internet
based network marketing can be as daunting to the beginner as to the more experienced in business, especially when considering the size
and power of the Internet.
So Internet based network marketing is a potent recipe that can lead to your financial success. The secret
to success in Internet based network marketing is a simple duplicable system that anyone can follow-- not just experienced
networkers.
This includes both online, offline and a combination of the two, for both part-time and full-time
participants. PLUS a product you truly believe in. Armed with this combination, you are ready to take on the world.
However, there's a downside to Internet based network marketing too, as with everything else! No sensible
networker will ever advise you to rely 100% on the systems, and with very good reason.
The systems assist you in every aspect of your business, but the power of network marketing only begins to
multiply when you keep your downline growing too. This can only be done by building relationships with your team, no computer can do
that!
Picking your core opportunity can be a very personal thing. You may have had previous experience in a
particular industry for example, but eventually it will come down to one key decision - what you are selling or promoting.
The secret here is to realize that every Internet based network marketing opportunity has three facets:
Retailing, Customer Lead Marketing Plan, and Business Lead Marketing Plan.
Retailing is just focusing on selling a product to a customer to earn a commission. The Customer Lead Marketing Plan
is a very powerful marketing plan since customers make the best distributors of products, because they have a personal story to
tell.
Although it is business builders that will make you the most money, every opportunity will have a
marketing plan to follow up with your customers to convert them into business builders.
The Business Lead Marketing Plan, on the other hand, is the same for every opportunity although not many
people realize it! By learning basic network marketing techniques and perfecting them, it is then easy to share with your downline. This
is the key to a successful network marketing business. You are in the people business; your core opportunity is just the
vehicle.
So you see, Internet based network marketing is quite easy really, if you get the hang of it. This is your golden
opportunity to build your own home business and be the master of your own destiny.
