What do you do when you or someone on your team runs out of prospects to talk to about your business?

This challenge plagues many a distributor in the network marketing industry. What if you and your team developed an endless stream of prospects to talk to about your business?

Prospecting over the internet makes this possible!

Why would you want to prospect on the internet as oppose to other ways of prospecting for your business?

Maybe you or your business partners are very shy and not willing to implement more outgoing methods of prospecting such as the famous "three-foot rule" or attending networking events.

Perhaps you or your business partners work a very odd schedule (like nights) that makes other methods of prospecting difficult.

When should you add internet prospecting to your network marketing business? Add internet prospecting after you talk to everyone in your warm market.

There's one exception to this rule, when you run out of any warm market prospects that live outside your local market and the referrals generated through your warm market all live locally to you.

Prospecting online offers the benefit of schedule flexibility. What other method of prospecting can you use 24 hours a day 7 days a week from any location in the world with access to a computer and a phone?

Prospecting online also offers the ability to prospect to any market in the world. Looking to build a business in sunny Southern California or Hawaii?

Generate prospects online that live in these markets and you can build your business there or anywhere you choose!

One method to prospect online involves purchasing co- registration or business opportunity leads. You pay a company a set amount per lead to generate a list of prospects that you can share your business with and the company provides you with information about these prospects.

The set amount varies based on many factors, including the information you want to collect, whether you want leads in a specific market or whether you want leads exclusive to you or shared with a few others.

With these leads you can email them a web site, call them and get them on a conference call or mail them out additional information.

Purchasing leads simplifies the prospecting process. You simply pay money and receive in return a list of prospects to contact. Using this list, you can email them or mail out to them 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

You can also call them between 9am and 9pm in their time zone. If you purchase leads in different time zones, you can contact leads practically any time during the day.

Another method to prospecting online involves register for social networking web sites. Web sites like www.myspace.com  www.hi5.com  and others allow you to network with other internet users all across the world. You can use the power of these web sites to prospect for your network marketing business.

This method of prospecting offers the benefit of no cost and you can contact people 24 hours a day 7 days a week. To prospect online using this method, simply register for a free account, then browse the web site and look at different profiles available.

When you find someone that interests you for your business, simply send them a message introducing yourself. If they reply back, you can build rapport with them or simply go for the straight-forward approach and gauge their interest in looking at your business.

Assuming they reply with interest, you can move them to the next method of your exposure process, whether its sending them to a web site, a conference call or mailing them out a tool.

In conclusion, prospecting on the internet can revolutionize your business if you know how to do it. So try out some of the concepts learned in this article, continue to educate yourself on the process and as you enjoy success, make sure you teach these concepts to the members of your team.

Remember the key to building a long-term successful business in network marketing does not involve you necessarily knowing everything, but you teaching your organization to teach their organization how to master the process of building a network marketing organization.

Internet MLM Lead Generation Strategies

Now that MLM is a part of the internet you can find all of the downline youll ever need on a worldwide basis.

Gone are the akward meetings, speeches, and cold calls. Finding your network marketing leads has never been easier.

Nevertheless, there is still a skill to be acquired to build this virtual downline I speak of. The less personal internet-approach can make the recruitment ratio bend to a less favorable zone.

So let me lay out some ways to have leads to come to you.

These are long-term downline building ideas, so keep in mind that the results are not instant.

You will be working for free for a while. But this is designed in a way that, once you have done the work, it will continue to work for you; The essence of MLM.

Be sure that you have a website. It will be your headquarters. On it will be your pitch pages, articles, blog, and whatever else promotes your business. You will want to draw visitors from as many sources as possible. For example:

1. Forums - There are millions of forums that you can post in for free. Find 5 forums in your target market where you can post daily. Your signature will have your website URL in it. Visitors will click on signature links.

2. Ezines - Place Solo Ads in 3-4 appropriate ezines per month. Thousands of targeted people will receive an email advertisement from you.

3. Pay Per Click Ads - Set up a PPC account with Adwords or any other trusted PPC company. Send visitors to your site or lead capture page.

4. Articles - Write and distribute 10 articles a month and stick to it for a year. Youll be surprised at the results if you stick to this plan. Distribute your articles to ezine directories, then blog and ping. Do this everyday for 3 months, and it will draw traffic for years.

5. Start a Blog or Myspace Page - Social Networking and Community are key to finding people. These types of sites are as close as you can get to having that "personal touch" online.

The moral of the MLM story is this; do everything in your power to have people coming to you.

If you use these techniques for your internet network marketing business, you'll never have to force it down anybodys throat.

Its all ratios in this game. The more you reach, the more will want to know more about what you do.

MLM, or network marketing, has been around for over 50 years.

When it was first introduced, it was an exciting new way to distribute products and allowed for anyone to become a business owner without all the traditional headaches of trying to start your own business.

Many people became millionaires from network marketing, and before you knew it, mlm companies were popping up all over the place.

But the problem was, the only people that were really making a lot of money in these home based business opportunities were the ones who came on in the beginning.

So, if you didnt start at the ground floor, the road ahead of you became extremely difficult.

Why?

Because of market saturation.

Does that mean someone couldnt become wealthy if they joined later on? No, but it became much harder to do so.

So, enter in the age of the internet. MLM and home based business opportunities found a new home. This seemed great at first, but the internet opened up a whole new set of problems for network marketing.

People could buy similar products for much cheaper then the inflated prices mlm companies were selling them for.

People had access to everything from around the world at their fingertips. So, unless you had real wholesale prices on your mlm products, your job became much harder, if not impossible, to retail products.

Your only way now to make money was to sell just the opportunity. And as you can see by looking around you, 99% of network marketers are doing just that today.

It almost seems like retailing products has become non existent.

So, this brings us to why I believe traditional multi level marketing is dying.

Talking to friends and family about products or opportunities has always been tough, but the abundance of similar products online has made it even tougher.

Plus, working your warm market is not a duplicatable system for the majority of people.

But this is what 99% of the mlm companies out there are teaching: talk to your warm market. But no one can really sustain themselves long term by focusing on their warm market.

So, people then end up spending hundreds of dollars on biz opp leads, which most of the time end up a bust (because those people usually have no money).

So as you can see, this is why 98% of the people never succeed in network marketing.

But there is a new concept that looks very promising.

It is called "direct response network marketing."

This model combines television infomercials, the internet and network marketing into one business model.

One particular company is doing this right now and by buying up television media slots, their distributors can take live phone calls from the infomercial of people wanting to buy their product or join their opportunity.

This concept has leveled the playing field once again for everybody.

No more having to work your warm market and hope your downline does the same thing. All the advertising is created and done by the company so everyone can participate and make money.
